before you go to the gutter. This blog has absolutely nothing to do with naughtiness or tushies. Dude, how often do I get to say that? Well, the first part...about no naughtiness included? Um. That's like never.
But anyway, I'm getting off topic. Today's blog is about a special idiosyncracy of mine. Nope, it's nothing interesting like eating everything on my plate, one food at a time, or only drinking my ice-cold milk from a straw (although, I do prefer that method). Actually, the special trait I have is rather dull. Some people refer to as
OCD while others call it,
Being a Control Freak. But me? I refer to it as
Being Anal.
So, in what ways am I anal? Well...let's see. I have a serious obsession with being organized, especially when it comes to writing. I might be flighty (yes, I totally am), but I have to have things a certain way. How, you ask? Well, I thought the best way to explain would to
show you.
Keep in mind, this is a small trip into my brain so

Notebooks...Notebooks...and More Notebooks, Oh My!
Every book I write has a notebook.
(As you can see, they are picture coordinated.)
Every series I write has a notebook.
(Notice, all the binders are color coordinated, too. Yes, I am that anal)
Every thing that I do. Every note that I take. They are all kept in notebooks.

Lists...Worksheets...and Spreadsheets, Oh My!
I have a list for everything...sometimes multiple lists.
(Note, this is a list of the characters appearing in "Bound by Love's Gravity")
And OMG. I adore worksheets. It's really kind of sad. I make them and make them. And then I make some more. At the rate I'm going, my filing cabinet may very well explode from worksheets alone.
(FYI, these are the two pages I keep notes about characters on, from their favorite color to their parents name, it's all covered.)
Oh! I can't forget about my beloved friend, Excel. We make the most beautiful spreadsheets together.
(Keep in mind, the bad boy above was lying on my printer. It's nothing like my normal spreadsheets. I generally like them colored and complicated, but this one was handy.)
