The Big Secret Reveal...on Mia's Monday Madness

Right now, there are two big, beautiful butterflies fluttering around Luscious, Kansas. Where did they come from? If the quote above is correct then they were born of the two major changes my characters and I recently made in Luscious. What are the changes, you ask? Well...I guess I'll let you in on the secrets since I've been teasing you for a week now.

1. The first book in Love in Luscious, Kansas is about Sam Carrington, Brett Monroe, and Ethan Bartlett. Yes, they are all men. And yes, this is my first MMM book. But, and this is a big but, this book is not their entire story. Luscious Beginnings is only the first part of their love story. They will have a second book, Their Luscious Dream, where a woman will join the trio, an irresistible woman who will complete them all.

This leads me to my second secret...

2. Luscious, Kansas is not at all what it seems. Goodness, it isn't even what I thought it would be. See I originally was under the impression that Love in Luscious, Kansas would be set in a man-love town. But I wasn't seeing the whole picture. Those pesky little character that I love like to keep me out of the loop. Darn them. Anyway, once the heroine in Their Luscious Dream made her grand appearance in Luscious Beginnings, everything fell into place. And everything after that snowballed. So now, Love in Luscious, Kansas will be a series set in a MMF and MMMF town, which I'm absolutely thrilled about because that genre is where my heart is. I love writing MMF and MMMF stories. And I couldn't be happier that I was taken in that direction. I hope you will be, too!

Needless to say, I have recently started to work on Their Luscious Dream. The plan is for the two books to release as closely together as possible. Currently, I don't have a release date for either book. But as soon as I do, I will let everyone know. :)

One Last Hint Before Tomorrow's Big Reveal...

Hint #5:

When it comes to three bisexual men who want it all, they will find a way to get what they want - even if it leads the author on a path she never expected...and a journey that will alter Luscious, Kansas as everyone knows it.

Love and cherries,

*Don't forget to email me or privately message me (Facebook or Twitter), if you know what the secret I'll be revealing tomorrow is. :)

Shut Up...and Drive on Mia's Monday Madness

Shut Up...And Drive:

The Rules to Driving Without Making Mia Road-Raging Mad

The Golden Rule: Do. Not. Ride. My. Ass. I may like it in the bedroom with my husband. But I guarantee that I don't like it in my car with a stranger.

Rule No. 2: Don't cut me off. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

Rule No 3: Never pull out in front of me at a breakneck speed then slow down. You like it fast, fine. You like it slow, good for you. But don't go back and forth. Make a decision and stick with it.

Rule No. 4: Don't drive slower than Miss Daisy would - if she were behind the wheel. Jessica Tandy could get away with it. But you, Sir (or Madame), cannot.

Rule No. 5: Don't forget to signal. In certain adult situations, lack of warning can be most pleasurable. Think, blindfold and bondage. But when you're going to turn or change lanes, the element of surprise is neither sexy nor arousing. It's annoying and stupid.

Rule No. 6: Don't change lanes abruptly. I'm not a psychic. Psycho, yes. Psychic, no. I cannot predict your crazed driving antics.

Rule No. 7: Stay out of my blind spot. I want to see you when I flip you off.

Rule No. 8: Don't block an intersection. Trust me, you're not that important...unless your naked and your name is Ryan Gosling. Then you are that important. And you should feel free to block my intersection any day. ;)

Rule No. 9: Green means go. Floor it. Haul heinie. Ride like a cowgirl on her favorite stud.

Rule No. 10: Remember to switch off your high beams when you see me coming. Hehehe. I'm just going to stop right there before I choke on my foot.

Sarah wanted to explore the submissive side of her nature, but instead found herself abused and nearly killed by a sadistic Dom. Now she is finally ready to embrace not only her nature but the men she wants and loves. She just needs to work up the nerve to ask them to be her Doms. Adam has been waiting for Sarah to heal enough to ask for what she wants. Now that she is ready, can they convince Deke to move beyond the past and freely give them his heart? Bound by Love’s Gravity by Mia Ashlinn is the first book in The Doms of Kinky, Kansas series, which is lightly connected to the Sweet Serenity series.

Adam and Deke have been partners for seventeen years. They have occasionally added a third but Sarah is and will be different. Deke can’t take the chance that his needs will cause Sarah harm, so he begins distancing himself from not only her but Adam as well. He knows that Sarah and Adam love each other and much as it pains him he will give them the gift of each other. Adam and Sarah know that without Deke they won’t survive, so they fight for their man. Adam must also accept that he has enabled Deke to his detriment. He is determined that this new relationship be on a more equal footing. But is fighting both himself and Deke too much?

Ms. Ashlinn gives us a tale of survival and hope. With Sarah’s history, you would have thought she would never give the lifestyle a chance. But instead she learned what safe, sane, and consensual really meant. Then she fought for the men that she has always wanted. She is determined to move forward and out of the holding pattern her life has become.

Ms. Ashlinn did not limit her focus to just Sarah; even Adam and Deke who have had such a long relationship had new tricks to learn. While Deke’s issues formed the nucleus of much of the story, Adam was not without his inner demons. I thought this was a well written and well-rounded story. The character development was complete and the connection between them felt real. I am looking forward to what else is in store for the residents of Kinky, Kansas.

Welcome Guest Blogger...Heather Long!

Jeannie Williams, also known as Pandora, agreed to sit down and chat about her experiences at the Arcana Royale. In a random twist, the headliner has decided that she’d rather interview the Wizard…or in this case, the Witch behind the scenes pulling all the strings.

Spritzed with glitter and dressed in a pale white dress, Jeannie Williams looks like a million bucks, waving the camera around, she eyes her author. “So, you dress me up in all these flashy clothes, high heels and head pieces that weigh fifty pounds and you’re wearing…what the hell are you wearing?”

“These are my comfy clothes. Don’t talk smack about the comfy clothes. I need them to write all those wonderful scenes you shine in.”

Pandora lifted her brows. “Okay, so we’re endorsing lazy chic…I can work with that. I have some cards here.” The showgirl flips through the notecards. “We’re visiting Mia Ashlinn’s blog today…oh, I like her books. She writes naughty. Why couldn’t you write me that naughty?”

“Do you really think Malcolm is the kind of vampire who shares?” Heather leaned back in the chair and eyed the dancer.

“Hmm, good point. Moving on! Our first question for you is—boxers or briefs?”

“Personally? I like boxers…on a guy.”

“But Malcolm wore…”

“Again, you really want to share that?” Heather challenged the dancer and both grinned.

“Okay, we’re going to do this lightning round style—I ask and you answer with the first thing that comes to mind, got it?”

“I can handle that. Just let me get my coffee.”  Settling in, the author took a sip and eyed her character. “Hit me.”

“You go into an adult store—who is with you? Your lover or your best group of friends?”

Heather pauses, coffee cup halfway to her mouth. “I am more likely to go there with my fictional friends, so how about my best group of friends.”

Jeannie grins. “You're writing a sex scene, would your characters get into more trouble in the front of a truck or a big backseat?”

“Well, I’ve had them do it in the bed of a truck before, so I’ll say it really depends on the character…and their level of flexibility.”

“Heather!” Jeannie burst out laughing.

“What? I’m just saying. That’s where two of them did it, I didn’t say it’s where I would do it.” She pointed a finger at the character. “And unless you want a cases of fictional STD, don’t go there.”

“Oh, you’re mean when you’re cranky. You should write yourself a Malcolm all for you.” The dancer winked and flipped to the next card. “Would you rather be stranded on in island or snowed in up in the mountains?”

“Mountains. Because then it would be cold and my allergies wouldn’t be driving me nuts. Not to mention all the writing I could get done in the quiet. Yeah, definitely mountains.” The author sighed a dreamy note.

“Huh. Good answer.” Jeannie flipped to the next card. “What's the one thing you own that you love to wear around the house but wouldn't be caught dead in out in public?”  Pausing a beat, she flicks a look over Heather. “Please say what you’re wearing now…”

….we interrupt this interview as the character is currently fleeing her author’s threats to dress her in hand me downs…

Heather is giving away a copy of one book from her backlist.  All you have to do is answer the following question: Who was it that had sex in the bed of a truck?
Please email your answer to with the subject line - HL Sex Question.

Keep up with Heather and her myriad of characters from showgirls to vampires to Marines to cowboys and thieves…

Fifty years ago, Jeannie Williams made her way to Las Vegas seeking fame and fortune. Instead, she lost her soul and wound up performing nightly shows at the Arcana Royale. Every day, she straps on her feathers, her glitter, her stilettos, and she dances. Every day, it’s the same.

Until the day he walks in.

For six centuries, Malcolm Reynolds has been the go-to guy for anything his family needs: warrior, diplomat, wrangler, researcher, and now an attorney. He enters the Arcana Royale Casino, intent on negotiating the release of his cousin’s bad debt, but one look at the golden-skinned showgirl ignites a fire of need that he’s never experienced. When the fantasy come true sits at his table, words he never expected to hear come out of her lush mouth: “I need your help.”

Now he’s in for the toughest battle of his life, because the Overseers own both his cousin’s debt and her soul. And he’s not planning on leaving the Royale without either one.

This book has been previously published and has been revised and expanded from its original release.

Warning: Contains high-stakes games, sexy showgirls, and a powerful showdown between a vampire that can’t lose and the House that never does. Spells, slots, sirens and sex, oh my!
